IT ONLY TOOK FOREVER TO DELIVER AND RECEIVE A MESSAGE!

Yesterday was the most amazing day of my life, and if this were to be the last appointment God ever asked me to remember, I could not have ended my appointments on a happier memory.

Nearly four decades ago I set out on a journey to know if God, Jesus and the Bible were real. I looked into the eyes of people who told me stories of days gone by. I looked deep within the pages of the Bible. I took walks and looked under rocks, and even tried to move mountains, but it wasn’t until yesterday where I understood that today I had to deliver a message!

Since the moment I realized that no matter how hard I tried to prove that God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit were nothing more than what man created… I found that I was created to be everything God created me to be.

23 years ago God asked my heart to create a stuffed, plush toy named OwieBowWowie. Owie hasn’t been easy. He’s made me cry. He’s made me quit, and then start over again. He’s allowed me to meet people I never would have met, and have hugged thousands of children, but in the back of my heart I’ve always thought, “If Owie was created for one person… I hope I get to meet that one person!”

Many people have come along to help Owie become the “dog” that he is today, and when they felt their help was no longer needed, God moved them to where they were meant to be. Last night I had a dream of all the people I have met along this journey, and it showed each person holding up their gift. When they were done using their gift to complete Owie, they handed him back to me, and Owie and I continued on. When I arrived at the end of my journey there was only one woman standing, and it happened to be the woman who is helping me now. In my dream I handed her Owie, and the two of us continued on.

When I awoke I called her, shared with her my dream and then my heart told me to give her a message. I gave her the message, and when the message was delivered I knew it was for her.

When we hung up the phone it occurred to me how far God will go to deliver a message, and because He knew that my heart always wondered who the message was supposed to be given to, He allowed me to deliver it.

When I was a child I once asked God if I could be His messenger. All I wanted was for Him to give me an important message. An assignment. I wanted Him to know that He could count on me, and that I would never stop until I found the person the message was for. I even wrote down that I wanted the message to be placed in an envelope and sealed in Gold.

Today the seal was broken, and the message was delivered, and the blessing to me was I truly understood the message of God. His message to the world was His son Jesus, and with each person who breaks the seal and invites Him into their heart, that is when the message is received.

Now, to catch my breath. There’s always something I do when I scribe my appointments I go to my Bible to confirm it, and while I was opening my Bible it opened to the title: THE MESSAGE. I actually looked up to heaven and said, “Are you kidding me?” Then I read this:

Here we go!

3 All honor to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is by his boundless mercy that God has given us the privilege of being born again. Now we live with a wonderful expectation because Jesus Christ rose again from the dead. 4 For God has reserved a priceless inheritance for his children. It is kept in heaven for you, pure and defiled and beyond the reach of change and decay. 5 And God, in his mighty power, will protect you until you receive this salvation, because you are trusting him. It will be revealed on the last day for all to see. 6 So be truly glad! There is wonderful joy ahead, even though it is necessary for you to endure many trials for a while.

7 These trials only test your faith, to show that it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold— So if your faith remains strong after being tried by fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

8 You love him even though you have never seen him.Though you do not see him, you trust him; and even now you are happy with a glorious, inexpressible joy. 9 Your reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.

10 This salvation was something the prophets wanted to know more about. They prophesied about this gracious salvation prepared for you, even though they had many questions as to what it all could mean. 11 They wondered what the Spirit of Christ within them was talking about when he told them in advance about Christ’s suffering and his great glory afterward. They wondered when and to whom all this would happen.

12 They were told that these things would not happen during their lifetime, but many years later, during yours. And now this Good News has been announced by those who preached to you in the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. It is all so wonderful that even the angels are eagerly watching these things happen.

13 So think clearly and exercise self-control. Look forward to the special blessings that will come to you at the return of Jesus Christ. 14 Obey God because you are his children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of doing evil; you didn’t know any better then. 15 But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God— who chose you to be his children— is holy. 16 For he himself has said, “You must be holy because I am holy.”

17 And remember that the heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favorites when he judges. He will judge or reward you according to what you do. So you must live in reverent fear of him during your time as foreigners here on earth. 18 For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors.And the ransom he paid was not mere gold or silver. 19 He paid for you with the precious lifeblood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. 20 God chose him for this purpose long before the world began, but how in these final days, he was sent to earth for all to see. AND HE DID THIS THROUGH YOU.

21 Through Christ you have come to trust in God. And because God raised Christ from the dead and gave him great glory, your faith and hope can be placed confidently in God. 22 Now you can have sincere love for each other as brothers and sisters because you were cleansed from your sins when you accepted the truth of the Good News. So see to it that you really do love each other intensely with all your hearts.

22 For you have been born again. Your new life did not come from your earthly parents because the life they gave you will end in death. But this new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God. 24 As the prophet says,

“PEOPLE ARE LIKE GRASS THAT DIES AWAY; THEIR BEAUTY FADES AS QUICKLY AS THE BEAUTY OF WILDFLOWERS. THE GRASS WITHERS, AND THE FLOWERS FALL AWAY. 25 BUT THE WORLD OF THE LORD LASTS FOREVER.”

AND THAT WORD IS THE GOOD NEWS THAT WAS PREACHED TO YOU. 1 Peter 3-25

When I finished reading, I cried. God confirmed my heart. I delivered the message to the person who was waiting for it, and in return, God gave me the message I’ve been waiting my whole life to receive!

Now, if God is giving you a message to give to another, or if you’re praying to be on the receiving side of the message just know HIS MESSAGE IS FOR ALL WHO WANT TO RECEIVE IT, AND TODAY I WOULD LIKE TO DELIVER IT TO YOU!
